Allan Wins an Award!

This Sunday we enjoyed our annual Award Sunday. Award Sunday is a yearly scheduled event at our church where Sunday Teachers recognize various students for achievements gained over this past year.

This year I was pleased to see Allan, my three year old son, win an award in the “Tot’s Are Us” class. Allan has really settled in with the other boys and girls in the tot’s class. The award really made me stop and consider the growth that Allan has achieved over this past year. I am amazed how fast He is growing up before my eyes.

Allan will be moving up to the kinder Church this coming May. They told me that they grow up fast when I had Allan and that statement is very true. Congratulations Allan on winning your award!

Hockey Day in Canada | Stratford, Ontario

I was thrilled today to be a part of CBC’s Hockey Day in Canada in Stratford, Ontario. The weather was just beautiful (a little cold, but nothing to bad), and the atmosphere was exciting. If you were watching Hockey Day in Canada on CBC this afternoon you would of saw me on the ice standing behind Ron MacLean (I was the one making the faces). It was a lot of fun to be there in the middle of all the action.

There was a good crowd of people in Stratford for this event. Many from and around the area came to play hockey, see the various attractions, and see Hockey Night in Canada hosts. I posted pictures in my blog album. You can check out these pictures by clicking here!

Revelation Study – The Sidetracked Church

We are continuing our study in the book of Revelation at our weekly gym nights. This week we are looking at Revelation chapter 2. We are looking at the church of Ephesus. The Bible tells us that this church was a sidetracked church. You can download the worksheet by clicking here.
